A unique proprietary blend available at three performance levels, Rempel Bros. Concrete's Polarcon™ provides the benefits of an accelerating system, without any chloride. Polarcon™ enhances rapid setting in the coldest weather conditions and reduces building times accordingly.

In addition to delivering fast, reliable setting even in sub–zero temperatures, Polarcon:

• Eliminates calcium chloride discolouration
• Enables early form removal

Polarcon™ Gold, Polarcon™ Silver, and Polarcon™ Bronze are each designed specifically for colder climates to save time and money. Mix proportions and accelerating materials vary with the level of acceleration desired and the ambient temperature in which you will be working. Below 5°C, or when there is a probability of the temperature falling below 5°C within 24 hours of concrete pouring, special setting measures must be taken. During freezing weather, water curing should be terminated 12 hours before the end of the protection period. Rempel Polarcon™ conforms to ASTM C-150, ASTM C-494 and CSA A23.1 - 94.
